Documentation : Manage the suppression of the document

Previously the document you added in the database could be deleted only if you removed all the link between the document and all the pages referred to the document.

Now you can set the general setting of the application to allow Buymanager to remove a document of the database if it has no longer link to any pages (parts, RFQ, Deal,…)

1. Start Buymanager as administrator
2. go to Application setting >> Company >> Settings tab
3. choose the Documents Archiving setting you want to activate.
   • Delete automatically orphan documents : Remove to the database a document no longer attached to a page.
   • Manual management of documents : Even if a document no longer attached to a page, this document stay in the database. To remov it you should open the document using the document list and remove it manually.
