To troubleshoot most WebQuote issues:
1. Check Application Settings:
- Verify all required application parameters are configured (key, address, port...)
2. Review Costing Settings:
- Confirm all necessary costing parameters are properly set up
3. Distributor Selection:
- Make sure at least one (1) distributor is selected

WebQuote icon is missing or greyed out:
- Verify your costing settings:
Start Buymanager > Deals > open a deal > Initial Costing > open costing
Go to the "File" tab > settings > Price applied > verify that the "WebQuote price" is checked.

Start Buymanager > Application settings > users > Costing>
Go to the "File" tab > settings > Price applied > verify that the "WebQuote price" is checked.
Costing settings are greyed out:
- Check your Webquote settings in your application settings:

WebQuote search has 0 results:
- Check your Webquote settings in your application settings:

3. You can also verify that port 443 has been opened by your IT.
Go to the website: https://rqt.buymanager.biz
If you see a message "unauthorized access", this is normal. This means the port is open, you just do not have the permission to access our page.
However, if you see the message "hmmm, can´t reach this page", it means that port 443 isn´t open. Please contact your IT to (re)open the port for your company. .
4. Check your internet connection:
- Verify you have a stable internet connection
- Test by accessing other websites
5. Security Settings (to be verified with your IT/ system administrator)
- Check if your firewall has been recently updated and still allows RQT/WebQuote access
- Ensure your antivirus isn't blocking RQT/WebQuote access
- Confirm RQT/Webquote is added to your security exceptions list
6. Windows Updates: Recent Windows updates may affect RQT/WebQuote functionality
- If issues started after an update, contact your IT support
ADMIN: cannot add user for WebQuote/ RQT :
First, check if the issue affects all Buymannger/WebQuote users or only a specific/new users.
Verify the settings/ access as per the previous WebQuote troubleshooting point.
1. If you're still experiencing issues with only specific users/new users:
- Document which users are affected
- Note when the problem started
- Contact the Buymanager Support Team for assistance
Important:
- The support team will need to perform advanced troubleshooting
- Please be patient while they investigate and resolve the issue
- Follow any additional instructions provided by the support team
Note: After any changes are implemented by the support team, you may need to completely log out and restart your application for the changes to take effect.
Licenses:
"Connection Impossible " error message
1. Start Buymanager to get to the login page
2. Check Current Connections
- Click "More..."
- Select "Who is connected."
- Note the number of active users and licenses
- Let your colleague know to save their work, as they will all be disconnected.
3. Disconnect Users
- Return to "More..."
- Select "Activate license."
- Type: DisconnectAllUsers
- Click "Activate licenses" repeatedly until you see "All users have been disconnected." You usually will have to click as many times as the number of licenses connected. If the system shows 5 licenses connected, you will need to click 5 times until the "All users have been disconnected" message appears.
You can now re-log in with your login and open Buymanager.

## Ticket Management Process
### Creating Tickets:
1. Set Brand as "Buymanager"
2. Assign ownership
3. Categorize appropriately

- Reminder after 1 week of no response
- Close after 2 weeks of no response
