Buymanager's WebQuote service allows you to configure different currencies for some web distributor (when available for the distributor). This setting affects your WebQuote search results by ensuring that pricing information is displayed in your preferred currency.
Why do you need it?
- Obtain pricing information in your local or preferred currency
- Ensure consistency between Buymanager and your accounting system
- Avoid manual currency conversion when comparing prices
- Make more accurate cost comparisons across different suppliers
Prerequisites and audience
- All Buymanager users who use the WebQuote service
- No special administrative rights required
Important: The selected currency must exist in your Buymanager database before changing this setting. If the currency doesn't exist in the database, you will get search results without prices. Please add the currency to your Buymanager system before changing the WebQuote settings.

How it works
Configuring Currency Settings
1. Access the WebQuote platform
- Go to your RQT Account: http://accountrqt.buymanager.biz/Inscription.php?langue=en_US
- Enter your Email and Activation key
2. Access your settings
3. Configure currency settings for the distributor
- Farnell: Currency will depend on the "store" chosen from the drop-down menu
- Digikey: Select your preferred currency from the dropdown menu
- MyArrow: Select your preferred currency from the dropdown menu
- Mouser: The currency will depend from your API key.
- Future:
Region: Choose between Europe (EU) / Asia / North America (NA) / All
Key: Insert your main key
Alternative key: A second key can be added for prices in another currency (ONLY for contract prices)* Comment: Add a reminder note about which currency you are using
