Buymanager has a new feature allowing users to tranfer the Excess in the unit price. The aim is to have zero excess to certain lines to don't have to manage the excess of this line and with your customer.
How to do ?
In the costing you could manage your valuation as before. In the costing below, the two first line have an excess due to the price assigned to the line. the requirement quantity is 100 and you selected a price for 150. In this case the excess will be estimated on 50 components. In this case perhaps you want to remove the excess and increase the unit price to take in account the excess. The excess will disapear and you won't have to manage the excess component.
- Select the different lines you want to transfer the excess in the unit price.
- Do a right click on the selected lines
- Click on "Excess Calcul" >> "Include in price"
- Buymanager automatically estimate the new unit price
- The unit price in the costing currency has changed and a warning appears on the column "Excess calcul active" (the cells becomes yellow)
It's possible to change this specific calculation of the excess and come back to the real calculation of the excess or disable the calculation of the excess.
- Select the different lines you want to calcul the real excess.
- Do a right click on the selected lines
- Click on "Excess Calcul" >> "Enable" to calculate the real value of the Excess
- Click on "Excess Calcul" >> "Disable" to remove excess without impact on the unit price
