This guide describes the process to install a new database and activate a licence in Buymanager.

Why is this Needed?

  • You must activate a new licence each time your contract with Buymanager is renewed or to activate additional modules.
  • You may want to install a new database for test, separate module or after a cleaning.
  • New databases may be needed for first-time use or when the current database grows too large.

Prerequisites

  • Buymanager installed and operational
  • Licence files from the Buymanager team
  • The database file you wish to use (the Buymanager team will provide an empty database for first-time customers)
  • Administrator rights on Buymanager
  • All users disconnected from Buymanager
