- Helps detect data inconsistencies that could impact procurement decisions
- Enables more informed decision-making and optimized procurement strategies
- Allows you to correct pricing issues directly within the tool
Prerequisites & Audience
- Available to users with access to the Costing module
- No special admin rights required
- Accessible from the "Initial Costing" and "Final Costing" steps
Note: This function only affects purchase prices (costs), not the available selling prices (P3)
How It Works
Opening Multi Quantity
1. Open a Deal > Costing
Multi Quantity is available in both "Initial Costing" and "Final Costing" steps
Note: for the button to be available, at least two costings need to be selected.
2. Select Multiple Costings
Choose two or more costings to compare (maximum 10)
Press the "Open multi-qty" button
3. Analyzing Your Costings
-A comparison table will appear showing cost-related data for each selected costing
- Inconsistencies and potential errors are automatically highlighted
Analyzing Inconsistencies and Potential Errors
The top table displays the number of errors or warnings per line, along with the total price quantity. Click "Display" to see more details in the bottom table, where errors/warnings are highlighted.
Common issues detected include:
1. Incorrect Price-Quantity Relationship
- Higher quantities should have lower prices
- Example: A quantity of 100 parts has a price of 1€, a quantity of 1000 would be in most cases less than 1€
2. MOQ Analysis
- Larger requirement quantities should have MOQs equal to or greater than smaller quantities
- Inconsistent MOQs are highlighted
3. Zero Price Detection
- Lines without pricing are identified and flagged
Price Correction
Click the pen icon to correct prices using one of two methods:
1. Select from Existing Prices
- Double-click on the line you want to correct until the arrow appears
- Press "Apply" to confirm your selection
2. Manually Enter Price
- Enter the price manually in the input field
- Press "Apply" to confirm
Important: The "Apply" button will apply the price from whichever tab you're currently using (either "Select price" or "Key-in price").
