Sometimes supplier wants to quote your RFQ giving you prices for original AML but in the same time giving you prices from alternative AML. Buymanager only allow to the supplier to do one of the both for each line of the RFQ. The question is : How to allow the supplier to qive you prices on original and alternative AML ?
How to do ?
An easy way to solve the problem is to ask the supplier to simply duplicate RFQ.
- In the first one supplier gives prices for original AML
- In the second one supplier gives prices for alternative AML.
How to explain the supplier to send back two Excel files with the quotation of original AML in the first and alternative AML in the second?
In the RFQ Template it is possible to add a singular sheet in the Excel template. Then you can explain to suppliers the way to quote the RFQ and the possibility to duplicate the Excel file, rename it and quote with alternative AML and different prices.
How to import the two different quotations of the supplier ?
Nothing special is necessary to import the two quotations. You import the first quotation and if you want you can give it a specific description to identify it. Then you import the second quotation and give it an other description to identify the both in the list of quotations available. After import of the both quotation, you can you it in the costing like others quotations available for the deal needs.
