According to your linecard and your family strategy, Buymanager find out the supplier to request for quotation. Sometimes it's possible the linecard or the family strategy can't find out any result. In this case the user should add manually suppliers In this case you could decided to :
- Display the parts without suppliers assigned
- Select a group of parts you consider to request to the same list of suppliers
- Select multiple suppliers to request
- Continue to athers parts without suppliers
How to do that ?
- In the RFQ >> Step 1 "Items"
- click on the button "Display items without supplier assigned"
- Select lines you want to request with the same suppliers
- click on the button "Request suppliers" and select suppliers you want to request
- if you need to add more do the same on the current selection.
- When it's done, click on refresh to remove lines and continue with others lines.
Buymanager allows users to quickly identify parts without requested suppliers for quotation and gives to the users the capability to quickly add multiple suppliers on selected parts
